• Have a very good documented connection to European Royalty or Nobility
before the year 1500.
• Find a connection in the Royalty and Nobility Database Index below by
clicking on the Given Names or a letter of the Surname. This database uses the
naming pattern of the LDS Salt Lake City's Medieval Families Unit and Ancestral
File. It has the surname of the country or area associated with the title. Example:
Edward III King of England where England is the surname.
• Have a genealogy program such as PAF (Personal Ancestral File) to use this
